End of season gratitude

by
Gratitude de fin de saison

This morning, the first frost fell on the ground in our gardens. This magnificent, thin blanket of frost signals the end of garden cultivation (and weeding!). At the same time, a certain inner pressure is released within us. And it feels good.

Autumn on a farm is a time when extra effort is needed more than ever, despite the low level of brain juice and elbow grease still available. But before we get busy removing and composting everything, tarping the floors to protect them from the harsh winter conditions, putting away materials and tools, and giving the buckets a final wash, we take the time to close our eyes and reflect on the wonderful season we experienced and that still floats in our minds. The warmth, the frogs, the hummingbirds, the rain, the sun, the harvests, the scents, the colors, and your smiles.

We also, and above all, take the time to thank you.
A thousand thanks at least (!) to you who read us, who put more flowers in your lives and for whom putting your hands in the earth is a sacred gesture.

The seasons slowly but surely trace their passages on our bodies and our minds, but what inspires us to continue season after season is you!

Thank you for being part of this sweet and crazy adventure with us.
How lucky we are to have found you!

Rapha and I are quite introverted by nature, which is why you don't usually see our faces very often.
Since we can't thank you face to face, we thought it was important that you could put a face to the people you support directly by choosing Floramama. Because that's the power of buying local and short supply chains, it allows people to do what they love in life, quite simply!

Chloé and her (grown-up!) children, Roméo 21, Mercedes 19 and Marin 14.

Raphaëlle and her (little!) croquette, Marius, 2 years old.

Thank you again ❤️
