Zinnia marylandica
The adorable double, bicolored flowers range from 1 to 2.5 inches. They are painted with raspberry stripes down the center of each petal. Flower color varies with conditions: in warm weather, the petal edges turn white; in cooler weather, the petal edges turn pink. The compact, bushy plants are disease-resistant and thrive in the heat. The Zahara series is truly ideal for beds, borders, and container plantings because of its smaller size than traditional zinnias.
