New variety to try for us in 2023 and it was a crush. Northcap was the very first variety to bloom, a good week ahead of all our other varieties. Its flowers are generous, a completely caressing creamy white, and in its center, a hint of burnt yellow that accentuates with time. The more it matures, the more its petals resemble swan feathers. To try!

Plant tulips where they will receive at least 6 hours of direct sunlight, even after flowering, to ensure abundant production the following year.
Plant them in well-drained soil. Avoid areas where water stagnates after a storm.
After tulips bloom, wait at least 8 weeks—until the leaves turn yellow—before cutting them. This year's leaves = next year's flowers!
