A great classic among the "parrot" collection. It is really reliable and productive. I prefer it to its sister "salmon parrot" because it is a little more pink than orange.
The flowers usually have only 4 petals, but they are enormous and open 100% on the first day of flowering. They offer a subtle sweet fragrance. The stem becomes very long, but its head remains upright in a vase due to the small number of petals.
We grow it in large quantities every year on the farm. The "parrot" series is so named because the petals are very textured, like a parrot's feathers.

Plant tulips where they will receive at least 6 hours of direct sunlight, even after flowering, to ensure abundant production the following year.
Plant them in well-drained soil. Avoid areas where water stagnates after a storm.
After tulips bloom, wait at least 8 weeks—until the leaves turn yellow—before cutting them. This year's leaves = next year's flowers!
