Rudbeckia triloba
Generous blooms and small, bright golden-yellow flowers on sturdy stems. This large plant quickly fills arrangements or mixed bouquets. A favorite with pollinating insects, coneflowers are easy to grow, hardy, and require little maintenance. Native to the United States, they tolerate most conditions, including drought, once established. They usually bloom the first year but may not flower until the second year if very crowded.
