Orlaya grandiflora

Pretty, delicate, and versatile, it's an excellent medium for adding volume to late-spring bouquets. Orlaya produces a mass of branched white umbels that resemble lace. As the flowers fade, they form equally enchanting umbels of star-shaped green seed pods.

Sow directly outdoors in early spring when temperatures are still cool. Orlaya can tolerate light frost. Sow 2 successively, 2 weeks apart, for a continuous summer harvest.

Harvest when the umbels are 3/4 open. Flowers harvested too young will wilt.
