Sow indoors 3 to 4 weeks before the last frost and transplant outdoors when all risk of frost has passed.

Harvest when one or two flowers are fully open on the stem. Once in the vase, simply remove the faded flowers as new ones open.
Avoid handling tomato or pepper plants after handling nicotine, as it can transmit tobacco mosaic virus. Also, do not share gardening tools between these plants. The foliage can leave a sticky residue.
