Lupinus polyphyllus
This lupine produces stunning spikes of bicolor flowers, deep blue with hints of white. It has a delicate fragrance and offers straight, stiff stems, ideal for bouquets. In its first year, it blooms from early July and produces 1- to 2-foot spikes covered with pea-shaped flowers. More productive in its second year, it is particularly suited to cool summers and attracts bees and hummingbirds. while being resistant to deer and rabbits. Easy to grow, it will add height and color to your flowerbeds while supporting biodiversity.
