Digitalis purpurea
This foxglove produces large, bell-shaped flowers, white with spots that darken with age. It blooms in its first year with strong central stems and numerous side branches, perfect for bouquets. Ideal for spring or fall plantings, it is hardier as an annual than a biennial, as its winter survival is often limited.
Packaging is in French only. Please refer to our website for full details.

Sow in March, transplant outdoors when 2 pairs of true leaves are left and temperatures are still cool, protecting them from frost. Light helps germination, so do not cover the seeds with potting soil and water from the bottom or by misting to avoid moving the seeds. Foxgloves like cool temperatures once transplanted.
Harvest when the first third of the flowers on the flower stalk are open.
5 to 7 days in a vase.
