Delphinium x belladonna

This delphinium, one of the hardiest varieties, produces slender stems and delicate sky-blue flowers, ideal for adding lightness to gardens and bouquets. Although often grown as an annual in floriculture, it is actually perennial in zones 3 to 7, offering spectacular blooms in its first year. Attracting bees and butterflies, it may require support to prevent its stems from bending in rain or wind.
