Cynoglossum amabile

Delicately delicate, this harder-to-find variety is like a delicate shower of small cotton candy pink flowers. Unlike other forget-me-not varieties, they not only bloom in their first year, but are tall, uniform, and produce a beautiful first crop of long, sturdy stems, followed by a second, abundant crop of branching side shoots. Their small flowers are a huge draw for bees.

Harvest during the coolest part of the day when half the flowers are fully developed. Place them directly into cool water and let them sit for a few hours before arranging.
