Sow indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost and transplant outdoors when all danger of frost has passed. Covering the crop with insect netting helps prevent the spread of aster yellows virus by leafhoppers. Fusarium-resistant variety.

Harvest when the outer petals of the flowers begin to open. Immediately after harvesting, remove the foliage from the lower half of the stem and place in water.
