Amaryllis are planted in pots at home for their first bloom around the holiday season. They will bloom again around February each year if they are given proper care.

Plant potted amaryllis as soon as you receive them and place them where they will receive at least 6 hours of direct sunlight, even after flowering, to ensure abundant production the following year.
Plant them in fertile, well-drained soil.
