Amaranthus caudatus

A truly different and unusual flower that adds distinction and funk to floral arrangements. In the garden, amaranth is a magnificent addition because it gives a unique and refined movement. It becomes rather tall and its flower stem can reach down to the ground at the end of the season. Think about placing it in the background so as not to hide the more delicate flowers in the foreground. It is more difficult to put in mixed bouquets but in a single variety bouquet it is one of my favorites!

Harvest at the desired length once the flower stalk is visible. To enjoy amaranth's full potential, wait until the flowers are fully elongated. It is best to remove the leaves as they will wilt quickly.
