Who is Floramama?
Floramama began in 2014 as a solo project, conceived and created by its founder, Chloé Roy. For several years, Chloé worked alone on the farm and wore all the hats of this small startup. In 2017, the company expanded further with the arrival of Raphaëlle Noirjean, who joined Chloé and took over the budgetary and administrative reins.
After a season of internship on the farm in 2018, the official arrival of Lena Guézennec in 2019 marks another turning point for the company. Chloé will pass on her valuable knowledge to Lena, who will take over the tasks of crop management and field staff coordination until 2022. For the 2022 season, the field team is completed by three wonderful employees; Marguerite, Joanie, and Jeanne, as well as a few interns and volunteers.
The 2023 season promises to be a time of change with the departure of Lena, who is embarking on new adventures as a horticulture teacher at the ITA in St-Hyacinthe, as well as continuing her training in conscious communication. Chloé and Raphaëlle thank her immensely for her contribution, both technically and personally, and wish her all the best for the future. Without her, the farm would not be what it is today!
Floramama is now entering a new phase of its expansion. The company is consolidating its commitment to establishing itself as a leader in the small-scale ecological floriculture movement in Quebec, including the production of an educational component on floriculture.
A small-scale ecological floriculture manual will also be launched in spring 2023 to initiate this aspect.
Chloe Roy

Chloé is the founder of Floramama. She is at the heart of every operation on the farm; she oversees planning, production, greenhouse construction, irrigation, communication, and the creative side of the soft, romantic, and lush floral design for which she is known.
She studied flower growing with Erin Benzakein of Floret Flowers , a pioneer of the small flower farm movement on the West Coast of the United States, and flower arranging with Sarah Ryhanen of Saipua , based in New York.
Beyond her passion for her work, Chloé is a mother of three and a nature lover. Her mission is to develop the farm into a place where beautiful people and wonderful experiences unfold. One of her dreams is to acquire a flock of sheep. Meanwhile, Cala, her sheepdog, practices on the chickens.
Raphaëlle Noirjean
Raphaëlle, Chloé's friend and business partner, is the manager of Floramama. She is at the heart of the company's financial operations. Stéphane Cocke

Floramama is also fortunate to have the sensitive and poetic eye of Stéphane Cocke , a talented music curator and photographer, whose magnificent photos can be found mostly on this website and in the company's external communications.
